Welcome to my studio and thank you for taking the time to view my artwork!

I am a self taught artist living and working in the beautiful county of Oxfordshire. I work mainly in oils taking inspiration from the wonderful scenery of the surrounding landscape and its abundant wildlife.

As a child I grew up spending hours fishing my local rivers and lakes and have always been captivated by the ever changing environment. From the first rays of sunlight illuminating a misty lake on a summer dawn to the kaleidoscope of colours in the autumn leaves or the first sharp frost of winter, it is a privilege to take a step back from the pressures of life and appreciate the natural world around us. Having first worked in watercolour before progressing into oil painting, I have tried to capture these moments on canvas to bring a snapshot of tranquillity into our busy lives.
